Sponsors- Our Spookiest Thank You is For You!

We couldn't do it without you.

Here's a copy of the "Thank You letter" graciously printed by the Carteret County New Times on Nov 3, 2017.

See you next year!

A Week Later- What a Great Hootenanny!

The 2017 edition of the Newport Halloween Hootenanny was a great success. It was about an average attendance of +/- 3,000 spooky witches, ghouls and a few I couldn't identify! The atmosphere was great, the weather beautiful, and the enjoyment palpable. It appears everybody had a good time and had a safe time doing it. We thank all of our sponsors and especially our town and county safety personnel. Over 100 photos are viewable on the right bar of the website. 360 days and counting until Newport Halloween Hootenanny 2018!

What New at the Hootenanny!

The Newport Halloween Hootenanny just keeps getting better and better each year! This year, several new games will be added. Also, back by popular demand is our "Popcorn Booth" - after a year's hiatus! In our Younger Children's Section, games added this year include "Boo (Corn) Hole", "Spooky Obstacle Course" and "Skull Racing". For the Older kids we are unveiling our new "Snot Monster" and "Rock Monster" games. As always, there will be plenty of bouncy houses, carnival games, costume contests, and fair food, candy and prizes galore. Thanks to Newport Rotary who coordinates the event, and the Newport area business community who support it! We hope you can join us. HOOTENANNY STAFF
